Eating My Words.

Last night a friend on Facebook asked if she should intervene on her six year old’s clothing choice for today or just let her wear it and I promptly commented and said, “I’d let her. It’s minor, not hurting anything.”

And then my four year old had me put my words into action when she decided to do her own hair this morning.

Yes, she is rocking this look at school today.

She is herself and no one else and I love that she is creative and thinks outside the box and knows that she is beautiful.

  1. I adore her!! Such spirit. Go E go. Always be yourself!!

  2. She reminds me of my C! She loves wear what she likes. Even at 13 she says she doesn’t care what other people think about her. She is who she is and if she wants to wear mismatching flip-flops or earrings or wear her hair different than others than that is who she is! I love that about her. I wish I could be like that!
Your daughter is beautiful! Tell her that I said that the bows in her hair are beautiful! 🙂

  3. She looks super cute!

  4. Dadio& Teresa. says:

Yes she is a cutie. Love her creativity. Thanks for sharing. Love 2 all.

  5. E looks way to cute!! I love that she wants to do it herself!
    Love you all
    Auntie Laurie

  6. well, when she has good tastes why stop it? 🙂
I totally want to be the mom that supports her kid’s independence but the type-A personality in me is like, wait you want to wear what with what?! nah, that just doesn’t go.
