Monster Jam at the Metrodome! Ticket Giveaway!

Digger one wheele

Monster Jam®, the world’s premier monster truck series and part of the SUBWAY® Motorsports Series, will invade the Metrodome on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.

Monster Jam® events showcase freestyle and racing competition among custom-designed machines that average 12 feet tall by 12 feet wide, sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, monster trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. Monster trucks can fly up to 125 to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air.

Tickets start at $15 for adults and $10 for children age 12 and under. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 800-745-3000.

Coupons for $5 off are available at Advance Auto Parts.

A SUBWAY® Party in the Pits will be held from 2 – 5 p.m., prior to the 7 p.m. show on the Metrodome floor. The pre-show pit party gives fans (with a pit pass and event ticket) the chance to see the monster trucks up close, meet drivers, take pictures and get autographs. Pit passes will be available for FREE at all participating SUBWAY® restaurants from Nov. 12 – Dec. 1, or while supplies last.

Monster Jam®, sanctioned by the United States Hot Rod Association®, attracts over 100,000 fans annually in the Twin Cities area and more than 4 million fans each year at arenas and stadiums throughout the world.

Now if you have a daughter and think this is not the event for you, think again. Last year half the audience was little girls. This is truly an event for the whole family.

Comments

  1. The thing I would like most about going is to see my stepson’s face!!! He LOVES Monster Trucks and him and Daddy have been talking about going to this for his birthday this year. It would be awesome to win the tickets instead of having to buy them.

  2. I would love to go just because our family has never been there.

  3. Linda Miller says:

I would love to give these to my grandson…he loves Monster Trucks!

  4. Holly Engstrom says:

We would love to go!!!! :)

  5. Holly Engstrom says:

The boys would LOVE this more than ANYONE I know! :) haha

  6. I would like win the tickets to Monster Jam. I raised my son as a single mom and Monster Jam was a fun and affordable night out for my son and I to do each year. I always took him early to go see the trucks and drivers. He still has his pictures and programs that I bought for him, including an autographed photo of Gravedigger. Our favorite part was when they would play AC/DC and start the trucks in the dark. He is now an adult and he will be leaving for the Navy in March. I was thinking about taking him for the love of old times before he leaves. I know he would call me a dork, but on the inside he would still think it was cool to go with his mom.

  7. The trucks crushing the motor homes. M loves monster trucks!

  8. I really think Charlie would think this is amazing !!! He loves cars and trucks and probably has no idea anything like this exists! Ha ha sounds fun!

  9. Colleen Hager says:

I think the boys (and C) would get a kick out of it… like nothing they’ve ever seen before.

  10. Now I’m pretty sure this is *not* my thing, but I know that my husband and boys would think it’s the cat’s meow! Would love to give this to them to have a boys night out!! THanks, Samara!

  11. Never been and would be an experience

  12. Julie Routh says:

Our 3 1/2 year old grandson LOVES Monster Trucks! He would be so excited to attend this event. Even better, Grandpa and Grandma would be ecstatic about attending the event with him and seeing his reaction. We don’t get to see him often because he lives 175 miles from us. What better way to have fun with him. (And Grandma must confess, I’m enough of a motorhead that I would think it was fun, too. I’ve always wanted to drive one.)

  13. Just seeing the Monster Trucks, and since we have never been I guess I am not too sure other than that! I have heard really fun things about it, however!

  14. Would love to take my two boys to this.

  15. I hear all about this from a student in my classroom, and see the commercials, but never been and would be fun to go!

  16. Jenny O'Shea says:

I would love to take the “monsters” in my life. They would love all the loud trucks and the excitment of seeing it all up close and in person! Great date night with my little boys!

  17. Karen LeZalla says:

My boys would love this, and it would Finn’s first time going if we won. It would be a great Father/Sons night out!

  18. ALLEN ANDERSON says:

my house guest has been living in “hell on earth” the past 9 months and this would be a great gift for him
